These principles apply specifically to the AI-driven capabilities within Overe, not to the platform as a whole.
They define how we use AI responsibly to guide Microsoft 365 security outcomes, with humans always in control.
AI in Overe does not invent facts, guess configurations, or fabricate insights. Every response, recommendation, or action is grounded in real tenant data, known configuration state, and explicit policy logic.
Customer data is never shared across tenants, exposed to other customers, or used for model training. Where AI processing occurs outside the core platform, personally identifiable information is anonymised beforehand. Overe uses open-source and self-hosted AI models, and all AI capabilities are opt-in and fully under your control.
AI operates within the same security, access controls, and audit boundaries as the rest of the Overe platform.
We believe AI should make security operations calmer, clearer, and more effective, not noisier or riskier.
At Overe, our promise is simple. We use AI to help organisations maintain strong Microsoft 365 security and governance outcomes over time, without removing human judgement or trust.
This is not about replacing people. It is about removing unnecessary manual effort, reducing operational drift, and helping teams focus on decisions that actually matter.
We commit to being transparent about how AI is used within Overe.
We commit to prioritising customer trust over hype.
And we commit to building AI that earns its place in security operations through real, measurable value.
AI should not exist to generate more alerts, summaries, or dashboards. Its role is to help maintain real outcomes, secure configurations, consistent posture, and reduced risk over time.
If AI does not materially improve outcomes, it does not belong in the product.
AI should assist and act within clear guardrails, not operate unchecked.
At Overe, AI will always:
Respect defined policies and boundaries
Escalate when human judgement is required
Make actions understandable and auditable
Automation without control erodes trust. We design for the opposite.
Security and governance are high consequence domains. AI must be deterministic, predictable, and reversible.
We prioritise:
Safe defaults
Least privilege actions
Clear rollback paths
Speed is valuable. Safety is essential.
Effective AI requires deep understanding of the environment it operates in.
Overe’s AI is grounded in tenant context, identity posture, policy state, and configuration reality, not generic assumptions or one size fits all logic.
Context is what separates useful assistance from dangerous guesswork.
AI should not be reserved for the largest enterprises with the highest licence tiers.
Our aim is to bring practical, responsible AI capabilities to MSPs and mid sized organisations, in a way that is commercially viable and operationally realistic.
Accessibility matters as much as capability.
Trust in AI is earned over time.
We believe in gradual adoption:
Start with guidance and validation
Progress to assisted action
Move toward greater autonomy only where it is safe and proven
AI should grow into responsibility, not be handed it blindly.
The industry is moving from AI copilots toward more autonomous systems that own parts of the work.
Overe is building toward that future deliberately and responsibly, with AI that helps maintain security and governance outcomes across Microsoft 365, while keeping humans firmly in the loop.
We will share more about this direction through product updates, content, and upcoming discussions.
This is not a single feature or release. It is a long term commitment to building AI the right way.
